Een dag te laat, sorry mensen ! Gisteren naar de Fantasy Fair geweest, het was weer geweldig, maar ik was helemaal kapot toen ik eindelijk weer thuis was ;-) Enfin, er waren 6 reacties op de blogcandy, dus ik heb maar een virtuele dobbelsteen gegooid om de winnaar te bepalen ;-)

A day late, I am sorry ! Yesterday I visitid the Fantasy Fair, it was awesome, but when I finally was home again I was exhausted ;-) Anyway, there were 6 comments on the blogcancypost, so I rolled a virtual dice to find a winner ;-)

Layouts met Fantasy Fair foto's komen in de loop van de week, vandaag eerst kostuums wassen en nog wat achterstallige karweitjes doen ....

Ik bedacht, dat het wel leuk zou zijn om daar een groot canvas van te laten maken. Dus, een foto gemaakt en een canvas van 40 x 60 cm besteld. Groot was de teleurstelling toen het canvas binnenkwam. Al mijn mooie oranje/bruine tinten waren veranderd in rood/roze :-( Het betreffende bedrijf gemaild, en hoewel ze bang waren dat een herdruk niet beter werd, hebben ze het toch geprobeerd. Resultaat ? Exact dezelfde roze/rode tinten ..... Het argument dat zij gebruiken is, dat rood/roze/oranje hele moeilijke kleuren zijn om af te drukken. Gek, dat mijn huis tuin en keuken printer het wel kan dan ! Enfin, voor dit soort dingen ga ik dus op zoek naar een andere printcentrale, maar ik heb nu wel twee exact dezelfde afbeeldingen op canvas. En hoewel de kleuren niet kloppen met het origineel, zijn te toch wel erg leuk. Vandaar dat ik er één wil verloten. Laat een commentaartje achter waarom je dit canvas graag zou willen hebben, en waar je het op zou willen  hangen, en volgende week zaterdag 24 april zal ik dan bekend maken wie de gelukkige winnaar is ;-)

I thought it would be nice to turn this into a canvas. So, took a photo and ordered a canvas of 40 x 60 cm. When the canvas arrived it was a huge disappointment. Al my lovely orange/brown shades turned into red/pink :-(  I mailed the company, and, although they were afraid a reprint wouldn't be much better, they send me a reprint. Sadly it had the same red/pink colors ..... They told me it was extremely difficult to print red/pink/orange colors. Kind of funny, my own little printer did a great job at printing these colors. So, if I want more canvases, I need to find another company to do the job. Anyway, now I have two canvases that are exactly the same, and although the colors don't match with the original work they still are really beautiful. So, I want to give one away. Leave me a little comment telling me why you would love to have this canvas and where you would hang it, and next week Saturday, April 24th, I will announce the winner on my blog ;-)
